Levent Kurtcebe:

Mr. Levent Kurtcebe received his degree in businness administration from University of Marmara, Istanbul. He has held positions with Kadir Has University as member of board, as well as advisory positions to mayors and ministers. Mr. Kurtcebe is an experienced International health care executive with nearly twenty years of progressive responsibility in hospital and corporate management and administration.

During his career Mr.Kurtcebe has developed mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate development, prepaid health care plans and strategic alliances. Prior to joining this group Mr. Kurtcebe held positions with Florence Nightingale Hospital Group, Saudi German Hospital Group and Interhealth Canada Group. During his career in the private sector Mr.Levent Kurtcebe also worked with Hitachi Maxell, Lucent, IDB Telecom, Quante, Pottonboggs, Jindal Staninless, Darnac, Eren Talu and Abudhabi Holding.

Veysel Cakir:

Veysel Çakır graduated from Ankara University Finance and Economy Department (Siyasal Bilgiler) in 1969. During the early years of his career he held positions in the Turkish Ministry of Finance and became the Chief Tax Inspector of the State. In 1982 he started working as a financial advisor in the private sector and held numerous Board positions. Between 1983 – 1990 he also held the position as the financial advisor of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce as well as the Maritime Commerce (to-date) and UND Association. In 1988 Finance Ministry appointed him the “Temporary Council “ in order to establish the “ Certified Public Accountancy”, the chartered system in Turkey, and became the first CPA of the State. During his position as the chief financial advisor and auditor of the Turkish Steel Sector he has started his own audit and advisory company, Yonet CPA and Audit Co. and partnered first with Moore Stephens International Auditing and later on, and to date, with PKF International Audit Co. The major companies he has worked with during his career in the private sector are Diler Iron Steel, Diler Corporation, Yazıcı Iron Steel Co., Memsan Metal Products Co. , Sarkuysan Co., Demisas Lost Metal Co., Ulusoy Co., Parsan Co., Omtas Lost Metal Co., Eczacibasi & Polat group of companies, Guris Marketing Co., Cam Marketing Co. as well as Turkish Maritime companies such as Kaptanoglu, Kalkavan, Yardimci, Ince, Kiran, Mete Brothers, Ulusoy Shipping Companies and Yardimci, Selah, Torgem dockyards.

Selran Cakir:

Ms. Selran Cakir received her degree in Finance from Miami University of Ohio-USA, in 1996, and her MBA degree from IEP (Institute D’Etudes Politique de Paris) Science Po in 1999. She started her career in finance in 1996 with Global Securities in Istanbul. She first held the position as the economist in the research department and continued her career with Global in the capital markets arena as account manager of major investment houses in Europe and US. Between 2000 and 2003 she joined the logistics sector with one of the biggest shipping companies in Turkey, focusing again on international clients in container sales. Between 2003-2005 she held several teaching positions at the Istanbul Commerce University which then led to the start of her academic life. In 2005 she started her PhD in Banking and Finance at Kadir Has University where she is currently finishing her dissertation in Investor Relations and Share Price Performance. In August 2005 Ms. Cakir re-joined Global Investment Holdings, and started the Investor Relations Department where she worked with international investment houses in raising the Company’s foreign share capital. Since the beginning of 2009, Ms. Cakir has been giving IR consultancy to listed and private companies. She is a member of TUYID (Turkish Investor Relations Society – www.tuyid.org), where she is actively involved in TUYID Education Group for training IR professionals.

Greg Laughlin:

After serving four terms in the United States House of Representatives representing the 14th Congressional District of Texas, Mr. Laughlin has been in private practice focusing on public policy, energy, international trade and tax law. Mr. Laughlin joined the Washington, DC office of Pillsbury Law as the Chief Legal Council in February 2006. As a member of Congress, he served on the Committee on Ways and Means, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure (where he served on the Subcommittees on Aviation, Surface Transportation and Water), and the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries. The legislation Mr. Laughlin worked on as a Member of Congress included the Intermodal Transportation Safety and Efficiency Act, Pipeline Safety, Deep Water Royalty Relief Act, Oil Pollution Act of 1990, Private Property Protection Act and the Military Reserve Revitalization Act of 1995.

Mr. Laughlin was founder and co-chair of the U.S./Former Soviet Union Energy Caucus and helped initiate the Duma-Congress meetings to better understand and resolve problems involving oil and gas development confronting U.S. oil companies operating in Russia. During his Congressional career, he undertook many energy and economic development missions to Russia and the Central Asian republics, including Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

Mr. Laughlin previously represented the Republic of Turkey in a wide range of issues including public policy, infrastructure development, economic development, international trade and foreign investment.
